Meet the Therapist

A steady thoughtful presence.

Choosing a therapist is not just about training or technique. It’s about finding someone you feel comfortable being honest with — especially when things feel confusing, tender, or stuck.

My approach to therapy is grounded in careful listening, thoughtful reflection, and honest conversation. People often tell me they feel heard and understood, and that while I’m not afraid to speak the truth, it’s done with care and respect.

Therapy is a place where you don’t have to perform or have everything figured out. It’s a place to be real.

How I Work

I work with adults and couples who feel stuck — often in patterns that are painful, frustrating, or hard to change. These patterns may show up in relationships, emotional regulation, communication, or how people relate to themselves.

My role is to help you:

  • slow things down

  • understand what’s really happening beneath the surface

  • notice patterns without judgment

  • explore new ways of responding that feel more aligned and steady

The work is practical, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I aim to create a space where honesty and compassion can exist together — because that’s where meaningful change happens.

A Relational Lens

Even when working with individuals, relationships are often at the centre of the work. How we learned to connect, protect ourselves, and respond to others shapes much of our experience.

Understanding these relational patterns can bring clarity, relief, and a greater sense of choice — both within yourself and in your relationships with others.

Faith and Personal Values

For those who wish, therapy can gently honour faith and personal values as part of the work. This is always guided by what feels meaningful and appropriate to you, and never assumed or imposed.

Professional Background

I am a Registered Psychotherapist providing online therapy to individuals and couples across Ontario. My work is informed by evidence-based approaches and shaped by ongoing learning, supervision, and clinical experience.

Above all, I value offering therapy that is thoughtful, respectful, and grounded in real life — not theory for its own sake.

A Final Word

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you’ve been carrying things on your own for a long time.

You don’t need to know exactly what you want to work on before you begin.

We can take the time to understand that together.

Ready to Begin?

If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honoured to walk with you.
