Individual Therapy
A place to make sense of what feels stuck
You may be coming to therapy because something isn’t working the way it used to — in your relationships, your emotional life, or your sense of yourself. Many people who seek individual therapy are thoughtful, capable adults who understand their struggles but feel unsure how to change them.
Individual therapy offers a steady space to slow down, reflect, and begin to understand what’s happening beneath the surface.

When Individual Therapy Can Help
People often reach out when they:
-
feel caught in repeating emotional or relational patterns
-
struggle with emotional regulation or boundaries
-
feel anxious, low, or overwhelmed in ways that affect relationships
-
carry past experiences or trauma that continue to shape the present
-
feel disconnected from themselves or disappointed with where life is at
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.
How the Work Happens
Therapy here is collaborative, practical, and grounded.
We work together to:
-
understand patterns that keep repeating
-
strengthen emotional steadiness and self-awareness
-
develop clearer boundaries and more intentional responses
-
support change that feels meaningful and sustainable
I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and offer honest insight — always with respect and without judgment.

A Relational Lens
Even when you come to therapy on your own, relationships are often at the centre of the work. How you learned to connect, protect yourself, and respond to others matters.
Individual therapy can help you feel more like yourself — and more able to show up with clarity and steadiness in the relationships that matter most.
Faith and Personal Values
For those who wish, therapy can gently honour faith and personal values as part of the work. This is always guided by what feels meaningful and appropriate to you.
Fees
Individual therapy sessions are offered online and are $150 per 50-minute session and are paid at the time of service.
Many extended health plans offer coverage for psychotherapy — please check with your provider to confirm your benefits.
If you have questions about fees or coverage, we are happy to talk them through with you.
