Careers at HELPPS

Are you ready for a clinic that invests in you?  Hi, I'm Trish Pauls, Registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor here at HELPPS.  After experiencing the challenging work environments and talking to hundreds of therapists about their experience, it became clear that we needed to build a place that provided therapists with security and safety.   We believe that the best way to take care of clients is to take care of our therapists by removing many of the stressors that weigh on a therapist.  We do this by providing a full-time permanent position with salary + bonus, onsite continuing education, individual supervision, and health benefits.

The best way to provide excellent client care is to have people who are passionate about providing amazing therapy.  Are you a therapist who loves doing therapy?  You are able to be with someone when they are in their worst moments and look forward to those amazing AHHA moments when it just clicks for someone.  You are a registered mental health professional, ethical, well trained, and you are pretty good with almost anyone that comes in the door, but with a selective group of clients, you are truly great!

You’ve thought about private practice, but the truth is - you don’t want to be a business owner and to carry the stress that comes with that. You get excited about talking to people but you don’t want to be bogged down with accounting, bookkeeping, business planning, and search engine optimization! You’d really love to find a private practice where you’d feel like you were a part of a truly awesome community. You want to be excited about seeing your coworkers, be able to have a quick chat between sessions, excited about the clients you are working with, glowing at the end of a hard clinical day because you know you did excellent work.

Our Practice:

Our goal at HELPPS is to provide a safe place for people to experience lasting healing.  One of the ways in which we make this possible is to bring quality therapists together and give them the space to do their best work.  We work through evidence based counselling modalities with hurting individuals, struggling families and unhappy couples. Our team is committed to fostering a community atmosphere where we help each other be the best versions of ourselves.
